Delete your account
You can permanently delete your CastLog account and all associated data at any time.
From inside the app
- Open CastLog and go to Profile.
- Tap Sign out, then tap Delete my account.
- Confirm. Your account, photos, and catches are queued for deletion.
By email
If you can't access the app, email anthony@ajsoftwaredev.org from the address tied to your account, with the subject line “CastLog account deletion request”. We'll confirm within 48 hours and process within 7 days.
What gets deleted
- Your account, email, and username
- Every catch you've logged
- Every photo you've uploaded
- Your favourites, spots, and notes
- Any feedback or feature ideas you submitted (anonymised first if other users have voted)
Deletion is permanent. We can't restore deleted accounts. Allow up to 30 days for full removal from backups.
